1. Phlebotomist Hand Sanitization & Protective Gear
Upon arrival, the phlebotomist thoroughly sanitizes their hands, wears fresh medical gloves, and a protective mask before handling any equipment.

Fasting Blood Tests
Required for tests that measure lipids, glucose, and metabolic byproducts.
- Tests include: Blood Sugar Fasting, Lipid Profile (Cholesterol), Renal Profile (KFT), Liver Function (LFT).
- Instruction: Do not consume any food, tea, coffee, juice, or milk for 10-12 hours before sample extraction.
- Water: Plain drinking water is permitted and recommended to stay hydrated for easier vein detection.
Non-Fasting Blood Tests
Can be booked at any time of the day. Values are not altered by dietary intake.
- Tests include: Complete Blood Count (CBC), HbA1c, Vitamin D3, Vitamin B12, Thyroid Profile (T3, T4, TSH).
- Instruction: You can eat and drink normally before the test. No specific diet restriction applies.
- Thyroid Medication: For thyroid tests, it is recommended to give blood in the morning before taking your daily thyroid pill.

Fasting depends on the specific tests you book. Blood Sugar Fasting, Lipid Profile, Liver Function, and Kidney Function tests require 10-12 hours of overnight fasting. Routine tests like CBC, HbA1c, Vitamin D, and Thyroid profiles do not require fasting. Check our preparation guide above or ask our coordinator during confirmation.
For urine routine or culture tests, our phlebotomist brings a sterile, sealed collection container to your home. You will collect a clean-catch midstream urine sample in your restroom. The container is sealed, barcoded immediately, placed in a biohazard bag, and stored in our temperature-controlled cold carrier box.
We use a strict bedside barcoding protocol. The phlebotomist carries pre-printed unique barcode stickers matching your booking details. Vials are labeled right in front of you at the time of extraction. The barcode is scanned on-site, syncing instantly with our patient database to ensure complete tracking accuracy.
Home collection is entirely FREE for all health package bookings or individual test orders totaling ₹500 or more. For small individual test bookings under ₹500, a minor logistics charge of ₹100 is added to cover phlebotomist travel costs.
For routine blood tests (CBC, Sugar, LFT, KFT, Thyroid), verified digital PDF reports are delivered to your WhatsApp and Email within 12-24 hours of sample collection. Specialized tests or cultures may take 24-48 hours. Doctor consultations on reports can also be scheduled upon request.
