Urine Routine and Microscopy is a simple test that evaluates physical properties (color, clarity), chemical markers (protein, glucose, ketones), and microscopic components (pus cells, RBCs, epithelial cells, crystals, bacteria), indicating kidney, liver, or urinary tract health.

Test Preparation & Instructions
Fasting & Dietary Rules: Clean-catch midstream urine sample is required. First morning urine is preferred.
Medication advice: If you are taking any regular medication, please check with your doctor whether to take it before the sample extraction. Avoid drinking alcohol or smoking 24 hours prior to the test.
Hydration: Drink normal amounts of water before the test. Staying hydrated helps the phlebotomist locate veins easily, ensuring a painless draw.
